bb@wonderland To share my experiences only, my boy, a small boy, has the offer from RC this year. Though we released RC offer and take the other one. RC is a good school and give chances to small boy. 發表於 12-3-9 12:30

I think there are chances but I guess no one can tell if the proportion of small boys is high or low. It all depends on the performance of the child. I heard that there are quite many cases that even the younger brothers/sisters of existing students got rejected. This means the competition is really keen. Small boys have to outperform the others including big boys to get a seat.

Yup , once you decided to let your son to be small boy, you will have to start prepare them when they are in K1or K2. Imagine that when they attend interview they are just 5 or maybe near to 5 versus to someone that is nearly 6. A few months will have a lot of changes to kids - it is not an easy task

聽說高主教能直上中學的只有約五成，何解那麼多家長喜歡此小學，上了自己中學就很麻煩了！

一般直屬中學收生準則係最多會收85%(以中一嘅學位計）同佢有直屬關係嘅小學部學生。

而高主教佢係屬灣仔區校網（即係中學派位亦係用12網）所以佢除左有直系中學backup外，佢嘅校網亦幾吸引。

我仔都係細仔。所以想K3 時轉讀高主教新辦的幼稚園。
希望增加入高小的機會。但又怕高小又嚴又谷，唔知好動愛問問題的小兒是否適合。請高小家長多多指教。

但85%是指扣除中一重讀生及自行分配學位後的百份比，所以實際收自己小學的畢業生肯定小於總學位的60%。如果小朋友在高主教小學的排名是中等，壓力是非常大的。

小學面試以廣東話為主，亦用英語問小朋友一、兩個很簡單問題，分first in and second in 兩次。
