已到月尾還沒有收到LA SALLE的第二次面試通知, 機會是否很微? 原希望學校有3月9日的教肓署學生排位後, 會再接見一批, 但沒有家長表示收到通知, 打去學校職員又說會陸續通知, 不肯覆己終止面試, 惟繼續再等.........

我的兒子也在等，不過你有沒有做兩手準備？我給兒子申請了一間直資及一間國際，而兩間都收了。我想你還是幫仔仔買多個保險好些.

一心想阿囝的成績屬B1,而校網也多B1津校選擇，故沒有報直資。現在也有後悔，當初應給他機會嘗試，唔知直資10／7有沒有叩門位呢？另阿囝自行次選津校較大成數收他，但始終最心儀是喇沙，擔心次選收了後,沒有了統一派位再博的機會。

LS and international school have different learning styles, why you choose these two kinds of schools at the same time? which one do you prefer? why?

Which international school you have chosen and which DSS you have targeted, can you pm me if you are not convenient to reveal here...

It's good to understand different people's perspectives...and ideas.

Your son is so smart! It's very difficult to get a place for a secondary school place in any international school nowadays. Which international school have you applied? Can you share when you submitted the application?

Anyway, La Salle should be your first choice. I wish your son all the best!

My son is now in IJSS of Tsung Tsin, he get used to learn every subject in English. So, IS will be the first choice, we applied only one IS--CAIS, they offered the placement in this Jan, and also accepted 3 of his classmates.

There are 25 pupils in his class, 18 of them get the offers from DSS in this Jan. The main reason, I think, for getting the offer is their English performance. I can't say their ability is as good as the IS pupils, but, for sure, they are much better than the LS.

For me, I will definitely put my son in CAIS for his secondary education since CY will be the next CE, and the appointed Chief of Education might be Miss Law or Mr. Lee, there will be another catastrophe in our new but hopeless education system.

Very concrete decision making rationales, good reference for parents facing this selection exercises. Those who are serious to treat their children will explore as much as possible information regarding the future plannings.
