You can only take one humanity at IB level, so my advice would be to do a subject that you are familiar with, something you did as a GCSE. This is for several reasons. It means you know that you enjoy the subject - or not, and you must enjoy a subject to do well in it, especially at IB level. It also gives you basic knowledge that makes the subject much easier, especially when you have 5 other very challenging courses to worry about (not to mention TOK and EE). You want every advantage you can get, and a GCSE level of the IB subject is an advantage. Furthermore, the exams of IB I found to be based on GCSE exams, so if you take Geography at GCSE then you already are familiar with the 'skeleton' for the Geography IB exam. Personally, I adopted no new subjects for IB, I continued a few of those which I studied for GCSEs. I hope this helps.
