係咩 GH Feb announce result? I haven't asked the interviewer when the result announce, maybe I speak too much about my daughter. 我想開心與否, 性格主牢一切, 唔讀過唔知.

有BK家長話, 早已看完profile有了定案. 校長interview家長, 即OK. 但我都唔知邊個係校長, 又未見過佢. 你當日有無類似校長的東西出現過??

I was interviewed by a male teacher on that day. Not the Principal.

I haven't seen her on the interview day !
Anyone was interviewed by the Principal ?

My interview is a female. How many students are selected from your school for interview. Our school at least 5.

That day, group interview with 4 students, 3 of them are same uniform because 2 from us (am section) & 1 from pm section. 唔知單丁的那個小女孩會唔會好驚? 我個女見到此形勢, 佢不知幾定當. 但佢話明顯地下午校個位同學出眾d. 我個女唔知得唔得呢!

My daughter is the only student interviewed by GH. It may be due to the fact that she is the only student applying GH.

However, she said that was afraid of the interview because other 3's performance were not quite good.

Congratulation. I think you daughter is very top in the school as you told that only 1 girl from your school. I receive nothing up to this moment. Any BK received letter too?

What's you decision? You can discuss with primary school and see any other alternative.

My gal got accept by GHS too. Don't know what to do now ! Feb 2nd is very early to forfeit all other chances.

But good academic result doesn't guarantee good school for central allotment.

So, very tough decision ! Any ideas to share ?

Yes, good academic result does not guarantee good school. Last year, Good Hope Primary School No. 1 Girl was not allocated to her 1st choice, only 5th or 6th. Very bad luck.

Very surprise if GH Primary rank #1 cannot get a good place in 1st round?? I think she could be accepted by St. Paul Co-ed. which must be better than GH as both are needed to pay. If you said 2nd round lucky draw, Wong Tai Sin is not a good NET which only have a few EMI. It's amazing.

My niece's school 牛頭角堅馬太 got a few places in St. Paul Co-ed for the top acadamice result students every year.

I think depends on :
1) how top of your daughter? in both acadamic & extra-cirr.
2) your primary school profile? is it a famous Primary School?
3) is the school fee affordable?

For me, GHS acadamic result is good, it got 0.7A for each student in average in HKCEE, it is only slightly lower than St. Paul Convent, but if you are living in Kowloon, that's fine.

She is in Kowloon City Net and not Wong Tai Sin. I believe her parents do not want to pay any school fee, so join the lucky draw.

我係GHS舊生,畢左業接近10年...
我係由P1讀到F7.當年成績普普通通(一間學校咁多人
實有人考頭,有人考尾),但我就過左一個好開心既學生
生涯,係令到我到宜家都好懷念

有人話Good Hopers行為唔好,咁我相信任何學校實
會有d唔乖既學生.但我同埋我自己班朋友,overall都
係幾乖,幾自律(有時向學校都會有d倒蛋行為)...
一句講晒,如果讀得唔好/唔開心,我父母就唔會俾我讀
咁多年~
如果good hope收左你個囡囡,而經濟上又afford得到,
就放心俾個女讀啦,我深信good hope轉左直資,一定會
做得更好
