My girl is studing in K3 now, I appreciate their training in the independence. There is not much message/notice from teacher to parant daily but my girl will report to me if there is simple instruction told by teach. Eg, she will ask me to give her some coins to buy the class photos/birthday photos, bring a return envlope to her class teacher, she was elected to a group leader to distribute the crayons, wrap the book, under what condition/temperature she can ware her own jacket, etc. It can train up her responibility, independency, listening and repeat the instrution.
The second thing that I appreciate is her responsibility in her study. She will finish all her homework by herself and I just need to double check when I back to home. The student also trained to double check their own homework(mental) starting in K3.
