Wanna to talk about a singing competition held recently.
A friend of mine's kid attended this competition. I was one of the audience. I noted unfairness in this singing competition.
According to the rules of the competition, singing with and without background music should not have any impact to the scores of the singer. And if background music is used, it should be pure music without anyone singing. BUT THAT WAS NOT THE CASE.
All winners have background music and for those without background music, they did not receive any prize. Furthermore, one singer was using a background music with a voice singing, and we can hardly hear the singer's voice, still this singer got a merit prize! My friend's kid sang the song correctly, with all lyrics clearly, but without background music, end up no prize!
Is it possible to make complains to any organization such as "Hong Kong Equal Opportunities Commission"?
