Pls tell me how to choose. SSCPS Vs True Light. My girl is accepted by these two schools

Other than the concern of cost and location, I think SSCPS is better and more free for kids (though the second point may or may not appeal to parents).

I think depend on where you live. First must select the one that closer to you. (except you willing to move.)

Very simple.

SSCPS - English & PTH school is much better,$5,500.

True Light - $2,800. Chinese school, but use PTH to teach chinese. The rest of the subject is Cantonese.
People use this school as a back up for lucky draw only. 6 years later need to choose/draw again for the secondary school. The English level same as the normal school.
My friend's son is studying there, reasonable homework but a lot of dictation and test. Just finish exam this week, next week has a Quiz la.
About 20+ children in a class, 7 boys.

Both are good schools with good facilities, but the teaching approaches are slightly different. Other than location and fee, it comes down to whether your child is active and willing to pick up one musical instrument (required by SSCPS).

Dear Jack0128, how to use this school as a lucky draw. If I register SSCPS, I have to give up lucky draw anyway.

Is this school a band 1 school?

My friend said, for True Light, you can register and still lucky draw for Marymount wow?

For SSCPS, if you register, you need to give up lucky draw. SSCPS is a band 1 school, but now students can go SSC without any draw. SSC changes to a DSS.

For girls, if U are pretty confident to get place of Marymount which is , band-1 , free of charge and also has very nice campus at mid-level then Marymount will be my choice.

umm....I m living in Western District. I chose St. Stephen's Girl for my 小一學位自行分配. I think I will not try Marymount. My chance is too small. Thank you for your infomation.
