I am not representing SHCK to answer but just to tell you the situation I had last year. But do expect differences since it seems the selection is very difficult due to the larger number of applicants.

Similarly, last year the target announcement is supposed to be made on Monday too. For my case and some other parents too, we received the acceptance letter on the Saturday the week before, so that means the letters were sent on Friday already. The website is also updated after lunch on Saturday (actually I caught them updating the web and saw results from the year before

so don't check to early and you may get disappointed!!!). Make sure you pay attention of the year range they posted if you check too early.

Anyway, good luck to you nervous parents!

Hi Ian,
Thank you very much for your useful information, including this and others as well.

Would you mind to tell us that whether the answer from parents is critical? My baby performed very well during the interview (of coures ....in my opinion) ... only 1-2 questions cannot answer completely, but I think my answer was not very good. SH is my 1st priority, so, I am really worried about that......

Hi ahnew,

In my opinion, parents are always important during kindergarten application. For the case of SHCK, children's performance and behaviour are weighted slightly more important.

Of course, I usually don't consider the ability to answer correctly is the basis of evaluation for the teachers. They look at how the children react and handle these questions, rather than the correctness.

Agreed with you that teacher should base on how the children react and handle the questions.

180 kids will be accepted for AM and PM session totally.

anyways, i am not really that nervous. the offer by PC is already a surprise and big gift (cuz i didn't know what happened in the interview room). the offer by SH would be a super bonus (though she did pretty good, other kid may have done well too and there were so many kids sitting for the the interview). I always believe God would prepare the best (most suitable) for his children (not only my sweetheart but also other kids). whenever i think of whether SH would take her in, i would just tell myself "forget it". =)

I understand what you mean and I also believe God will help everyone find the "right" kindergarten and path suitable for the children. Those so-called "best & famous" kindergartens may not be good for everyone (children and parents).

We had the same journey as you are experiencing, starting from a very happy acceptance of KV, a bonus of PC and then SHCK! For our case, my daughter insisted that SHCK will accept her before we got the letter so we can only trust her and it proved she was right! She basically guessed right on all interviews. In a way, I believe the kids perform in a way to reflect how much they like the kindergarten.

Good luck and hoping to see your daughter later this year at SHCK!

The website has posted the result already! All parents can check it now!

I am extremely happy as my daughter got an offer!
And I still dont believe it as st cat just put my daughter in the waiting list and Pc is rejected our offer!
I just got the offer from LH so far!
