亞女02/07年出世，想幫佢考聖心幼稚園讀2010年k1，請問學校幾時批表? 網上downlond / 親自去取? 需要注意什麼?會考咩問題等... 麻煩各位指教 thx

真係無mud,我當年都係上網download,佢2日收表,我第2日先去交,
聖心幾公平,唔會細女一定唔收,
面試係睇小朋友禮貌,
我當年問d野唔深,係同小朋友玩,
反而要諗清楚係,
你要有心理準備,陪小朋友讀,因為聖心要求家長參與都幾多!

You may download the application form from SHCK's website as below:

http://www.shck.edu.hk

As it said there, it will be available in November, and as candietweety mentioned, there will be 2 days in which you need to hand in the application form in person.

The interviews are basically asking the children some general questions, watching them play and also questions to parents.

Hi iantsang,

Read your post before, hope you and other SHCK parents can give me some comments:

I live in KLN side, 1 hour to Central by bus or 1 hour to HK MTR station. I want to apply SPK, location is near the bus stops (on foot only). Is SHCK too far from Connaught RD by public transportation? Or nanny bus is convinent and reliable? Just think my girl would be too tired on the way to school.

Hi eggmama,

I am so sorry for the late reply since I didn't notice your question here for me.  Fortunately SHCK's application hasn't started yet so I don't feel too bad!

Concerning the travel time to school, I can she some experience with you since I live in Tsing Yi.  Our plan was to take MTR to Hong Kong station (15 mins) and change to school bus which picks up at Central post office (about 5 mins walk from the MTR station) which are just opposite of the MTR station.  The school bus travel is not long since this is the last stop and they head up to school from there.  However, as school bus arrives early to school, eventually my daughter spent around 4 hours at school (3.5 hours class time, slightly more from other kinder).

Depends on which side of Kowloon you live, for those live in the West side, usually will take the school bus at Central as we do, or take one of the few private nanny bus currently running.  There are also nanny bus for the east Kowloon too and the alternative way is to take MTR and change to school bus at North Point MTR station.

The travel time is something worth consider but the school is an excellent one which I never for a second regret of choosing it.

2009-10 application dates

For your information, I believe the application dates are similar to last year which will take place on the first week of December.

Based on last year, parents need to download the application form from the school web site as I previously posted in this thread, and submit in-person on December 5 (Friday) and 6 (Saturday), 2009.

Please note submission is allow only from 8:30am to 11:00am on either day.  Based on last year's experience, the earlier you submitted the application form, the earlier the interview time will be.  In my case, since my daughter wakes up late, so we chose to hand in the form around 10:30am on the Friday, and our interview time is 1:00pm.  So, I advise the parents to carefully decide when to submit the form to fit the "best hour" of your children.
