My girl has been with Jack & Jill for 3 years already.

What is your question about the school? Please raise up & let us discuss.

In my experience, they are pretty good in those writing courses.

They are having small group. The native English speaking teachers guide the kids before they write. They also learn / cover some words in the writing. Since I can observe a little bit through the glass, I notice the learning atmosphere seems to be good. There is a "little" comment on the pages the kid write in the class - there is a report as well every 6 months (e.g. Feb & Aug).

That's is what I know about Jack & Jill.

P.S. My girl had been in Ready-To-Learn for over 1-2 years before she joined Jack & Jill. Now she is in form 1 & too busy for her new school life, she cannot match the schedule Jack & Jill is having. She is not with Jack & Jill now (maybe she will be back some time later)

My girl took the course in Kornhill centre. So far, she just needed to change once for the teacher - the previous teacher moved back to UK.

In fact, Jack & Jill also has some small groups for the younger kids - in those groups, they really focus on play (with some learning in the process).....

As noted, most of the popular English schools charge similiar price.

$330 for 75 mins = $264 per hour

3 or 4 years ago, Ready-To-Learn charged me $260 per hour already

For writing courses, I believe Jack & Jill is better.

In Ready-To-Learn, based on the experience I got 3 to 4 years ago, they spent some time on communication with the kids - encourage they speak with each other. This can practise their oral skill & basic communication skill in English. They can learn the vocabulary, however, the writing practice is not enough.

That's my understanding based on my old experience.....
