小女有20分，其實第一round抽到MCS or St. Mary的機會係咪好微呢？有無邊間校風淳樸嘅天主教學校係20分有把握入啲嘅呢？請俾意見！Thank you!

天神嘉諾撒學校 - their students can go directly to St Mary Secondary School. Mind you, since they have annouced this arrangement, competition has increased so 20 points still isn't safe.
The other one worth considering is St Paul Catholic Primary School in Happy Valley. 20 points should have a very decent chance in the 1st round.

搏下啦, 舊年我樓上個女仔, 第一輪20分都中左MCS, good luck, 亞仔就好唔好彩, 抽唔到LS.

If failed, try to study GHS, SFA or APS and knock the Door in P2.
It is less chance in P1 for knocking the door if no relationship or no excellent performance

小妹都係20分, 一樣入表St. Mary, 而家只等天主安排啦.....

kls12 照你意思, 係咪讀 GHS, SFA or APS, 係P2敲門入St. Mary 會比較有把握呢? 咁請問APS 是指邊間呢?

其實Good Hope 同 SFA, 兩間您會點選呀?

Is St. Paul Catholic Primary School more easy to enter with 20 points? It's also a very good school. Even though my girl has 20 points, I still feel very insecured to choose MCS and St. Mary.

20分唔係實得,但唔係絕對冇機會,
上年08/09都有朋友20分,分別中MCS / St.Mary.
值得一試,最多咪讀返私校...

Under this first round pointing system, does the school only consider the number of points and the application form? Will there be an in person interview as well?

I am a Catholic from Canada. Will I get the 5 points for religion? My friend told me that you have to attend the church affliated with the school to get the 5 religion points. Does anyone know which church in HK is afflicated with Maryknoll or St Mary?

20分是有機會.

即使15分無機會, 我和同學都沒有放棄, 都爭取機會, 相繼搬了到41區. 然後第一輪當然唔中, 只有同區大抽獎的這一次,僅此一次的機會而已.

結果, 全班5個41區15分的女仔裡有3個第二輪抽中了. 我們感謝天主. (因為我們是天主教幼稚園的)

APS 是九龍塘宣道小學

去年 MCS 可說是九龍區女名校中最多P2挿班位的,考40個收10個. GHS , SFA & APS 已佔了十多人考了,其他學校的學生要拿入場卷要花些心思吧, 但在小班下不知今年如何.

St. Mary P2沒有正式的考試,有位會收,多是這些私校.

以小女讀的幼稚園一班為例,10個在大抽獎選MCS為第一志願,大部份現在讀GHS了

If you rather play safe, St Paul Catholic Primary is a good choice.
I can't guarantee a sure win, but the chance will be much higher than MCS & St Mary's (most parents in Hong Kong side will go for Marymount).
Rumor has it that occasionally even 15 points managed to get in at the 1st round - not sure if it is true though.
