Hi,
It needs to reach 7 years old to apply G.1 examination which is set by the Royal Board. So it meets the standard that your daughter is now 8 years old to learn G.2.
It is the same as my daughter. She has also taken the exam in May and got a distinction. My daugther loves doing ballet very much. But seems she has not practised at home as no music. Only she will show to us the new steps just learned.
G.1 is not difficult but it will add more and more on higher grades. If your daugther has interest, you can let her try 1 to 2 years before quit it. She needs to attend 2 lessons per weeks to keep the standard up to exam even she will not attend the exam.
You can consider if you has other activities like swimming, play ball games, etc. Or you can keep doing ballet as an exercise. |
