My girl is studying at Creative Kindergarten(the one with branches), she is accepted by CPS (the one with secodary school) and we're waiting the result from the central allocation also. If fortunately, she can be allocated to those (famous) schools like MCS or St. Mary etc.., I'm quite anxious that she won't be able to adapt the style of these traditional schools.
Some of my friends commented: Children do need pressure sometimes, if you won't try, you never know, also it is good for them to grow up under this competitive environment which suits to the society. Also, it is free of charge and they said I can save up those money and prepare for their further study in future. If I find she unable to catch the standard or whatever, she can transfer later.
I can say I agreed with what they said, however, I really like the teaching style of CPS, I'm sure she can learn happily without tears, but of course, I've to tighten my expenses monthly. One thing is quite important, I found she can't concentrate much to memorise the spelling of the vocabularies, so....I think it is very hard for her to study at those traditional school.
I believe some parents may encounter such problems also, would you like to share your experience or opinion? |
