As far as I know, only those register with a DSS will receive this letter. I registered with a DSS and signed a letter fr the DSS stating that I will give up the chance of govt's admission system. Today I received a letter fr ED stating that I have been forfeited the chance of admission system (central lucky draw).

As for private school, there is no restriction since private school is not subsidized by the govt. While the DSS is subsidized by the govt, so you have to choose either a DSS or a govt/aided school.

到依家收唔到理封信喎，早幾年一樣考到私校，一樣冇收到類似既信，因為間私校容許考生參加統一派位。

其實考到私校後，又有交留位費，私校係會上報教統局，而教統局如果收到該生既統一派位申請表，同樣亦會通知番間私校。好相信出唔出理封信，就要睇番間私校啦。
