From the bottom of my heart, it is not the only good way to learn grammar by reading only. I still support for using the traditional way to teach grammar. Kids need to know the rules of using different grammar and also need to do different exercise in order to let them memorize it and practise it. Actually reading may only mainly hlep kids to learn more vocabulary and kids also need to improve oral speaking in English. As all of us know, the English curriculum emphasise on reading, writing, speaking and listening. If you want your kids have better writting skills then you should improve their grammar and sentence structure. If you want to improve their speaking and listening skill, then you should let them have more chance to speak in English and listen english.
