Have you bought the chinese story book 兒童榜樣故事 - 小樹苗 for your kids to read in class ? Not yet and provided you find difficult to buy it, a kind advise to you that you can get it (costs $38 x 15% discount = $32.30) at The Commercial Press (Book Ctr.), Causeway Bay.

Mrs. A. Loh reminded the class being NO RETURN the bags last week have to bring it back tomorrow. You daughter said she did not go that room to take the book with a reading bag, it was holiday last Friday,in fact, none of them needed to attend the reading lesson.

My daughter said they are going to unseen dictate the first paragraph on chapter 10 this Wednesday, and the teacher will ask them to dictate the VOCABULARY to be chosen on the remaining paragraphs. Do you believe her ??

Some days ago, Miss Loh also asked them to read the SE19 & SE20 to be dictated. Our girls will manage it well. Let us take it easy.

Having read Every A Page for 10 books, the student can ask the librarian to make a chop on it to acknowledge.
Every the top 3 of books' readers in each class will be praised after a half-year semester.

Someone who joins in the the reading plan will be given a book to record the books they read. Does your kid apply for the reading plan ?

Let me clarify the record books for reading plan in detail :-

A4-Size Book
If a student whose application still would not be verified, she will be given a A4-SIZE book issued by St. Mary's School to record the books she read.

Green Books
Provided a student whose application has been checked for the reading plan, they will give her TWO GREEN BOOKS issued by Public Labraries for record use, one is for Chinese Books, the other is for English Books.

My daughter also wrote 18/11 (二) for chin dict chapter 11, we found the date was a confusion. She is going to clarify that confusion with chin teacher today.

and

On coming Monday, each p.1B pupil, one by one, needs to sing the song (music book p.18) with hand-posturing, my daughter said. It is the 音樂評估 .
