Some information for parents interested in this school:

GSIS decided to increase the amount of debenture from HK$120,000 to HK$250,000 for school building refurbishment and a new extension building.

The increase will apply with immediate effect for all students starting in the academic year 2007/08 as well as offer letters yet to be issued for academic year 2006/07.  

Existing debentures will need to be upgraded in value only if the debenture is reallocated to a different students or assigned to a new student.

Yes, GSIS doesn't have enough space even for the current number of classes. That is why in this academic year, the English Stream kindergarten has to use the temporary campus at Ting Hau. In the coming academic year, the German Stream Kindergarten will take turn use the Ting Hau campus.

I still haven't received any news from GSIS whether there will be more classes but I had seen from a newspaper clipping that the Principal said that they have to open more classes in order to cope with the increasing students for the German Stream.

When I visited last year, the school facility was quite substantial comparing to other IS.
