國際學校 for a 10-year-old girl
Hi parents,
My friend has a question which I'm not sure if any of you can answer her.
My friend's niece is 10-year-old, born in the USA and only speaks very little Cantonese and doesn't write or read Chinese.
My friend's family would like to send her to HK and they're willing to pay a lot for an international school. However, most of them said they didn't have vacancy at the moment.
Currently, this little girl is in Grade 5 under the American education system. The would like her to start schooling in HK after Christmas this year.
Do you think if it's easier to get in if they have any contacts in international schools?? Like some referrals? Would that make things easier?
They would prefer to find an international in North Point area.
If the international schools will be too difficult to get in, do you know there's any "traditional" schools that she can get in, provided that she doesn't know Chinese?
