VCD or CD-ROM ?

Which one is better for self-learning ?

Please discuss the Pros and Cons.

For CD-Roms, i fear that the kid will face in front of the PC all the time, very bad for eyes, worse than watching tv ?

your suggestion works if you have a person to take care of the kid or teach the kid directly

it is not the case for my kid.
i am a dad need to work and take care of the kid.

My son is very slow at recognise words.

Do you spend lots of time reading the books to her in the beginning until she can recognise the words and read on her own now ??
