9月先去讀sixth form, 無考IGCSE, 要點做呢？應考IGCSE中文定A level 時考埋中文？

HKU 只要second language ，如考IGCSE，份卷小三都應該應付到，不必考 A Level 中文。

請問知5知CU 系咪要求second language? 女去年已考，但原來學校安排佢考second language, 真系好淺，小學程度乍！

上網看了past paper, 原來中文2nd language的程度只是小學, 而first language就中學.

如果今屆dse中文2，但其他理科(Phy/Chem/Maths/M2)全部有1-2粒星+英文 5，另IELTS overall 7.5

在咁情況下，可否下年以這個dse成績直接用non jupas申請香港的大學，特別是HKUST 工程？

Not sure about the past.
But this year, the application form (online) did not mention that students have to know Cantonese when applying to medicine. However, there is such requirement for students applying to pharmacy.
Interviews that was conducted on April 10 was in English only.Having said that, I am not sure whether knowing how to speak Cantonese can be an advantage.
I still think elite programs like that, grades would always come first.
I know a few kids that got into CUHK MBChB with IB English A + French/Spanish ab initio (although they do speak some cantonese).
