幼兒園是上學的，日日返，半日或全日，而playgroup 則有家長培同，與其他小朋友一起玩1 1/2hrs or above.一星期去幾日，按不同機構或私營，收費不同，有的按月收，有的按季收。

其實需要與否，見仁見智，大多數playproup是給一歲半至三歲的小朋友，讓小朋友一起玩遊戲，吃吃茶點，so funny，可以多些群體生活，因為playgroud 並非正規的學校，所以有些是自願團體辦，有些是私人辦，所以價錢差距頗大，有些是全英語的，視乎個人需要。

it's so takes time to accompany bb to attend playgroup. I've tried nursery & playgroup before. For nursery, you just take bb to school & you have few spare hours to do housework. While for playgroup, you at least spend 1 to 2 hours to accompany your bb. Apart of time, money is another concern. On average, cost for attending nursery is lower than playgroup. I agree with Ruby.H that my bb also get easier to feel sick after attending nursery. So it's so hard to conclude which one is good.

I agree with Ruby.H. Playgroup is in small group and so kids get full attention. I took my older boy to try both before, in nursery, too many kids and sometimes just free play very often. For the 1-2 hrs playgroup, they are really doing things together, really learning. So now, for my 13 months baby, I try to take her to playgroup earlier to start learning. Good playgroup is hard to find, do need to check around and visit the centre/teacher there to know exactly what they do in the playgroup! Make sure the place is clean too!

How many months to go to playgroup is the best time??
Do you have any suggestion.
my BB now is 10 months. i also plan to take him to go . but ........ consider is that too small now.
