這顯示新一波教育改革如箭在弦，過去十多二十年的「愉快學習」、communicative approach 等教育理論被証實是假、大、空的廢話，現實是令幾代人的成績大倒退。

BBC的文章好像針對威爾斯，亦沒有提愉快學習喎，連 communicative approach 都冇。

如果學校因材施教，例如數學英文分三個 levels 是很昂貴的。現在小班教學等，已令平均教育成本很高了。

2012年底英國 BBC 有一段以 "Call for tougher GCSE tests on literacy and numeracy welcomed" 的新聞 (http://www.bb
c.co.uk/news/uk-wales-politics-20525914)，說英國大學和僱主普遍不滿學生能力差，但公開試成績不能反映。
