"The mechanism itself protected this from happening.
Even if there are such situation when there are too many applicants who have elder brothers/ sisters studying the primary school, the additional seats will not be taken from those quote for points system. They will be taken from the central allocation plot. And the reality is, this number is not as high as the media always said as they used a wrong way to calculate these numbers.
So, those with 25 points and even 20 points would have their chance protected. The minimum these applicants would have is 20% of the total intake."
As such mechanism, 25 points will be involved in the lucky draw only when the number of 25 points applicants is more than 20% of the total intake. The chance is quite small, and I haven't seen this ever happening, even for 兩呂.
