Any mum knows teachers' performance in Logos ?

Dear BK mums,

There were many discussions about the Principal of Logos, anyone knows the performance and attitudes of teachers in this school ?

Do your kids like the school and do you know what they have learnt in these years?

I hope to have more information about the school other than the principal.

I have registered for my kid in Logos, but I consider to withdraw from it and back to lucky draw.

這幾天一有空，就拿明報升中概覽看，當中當然有真道書院。子曰:"巧言令色，鮮曰仁"。對我來說，没有一件比偷换慨念更令人反感。

話說上年，真道有17名中一生留級(不知包不包括不满留級而轉校的)，對一家能自己挑選學生，自設課程之學校来說，怎麽說也是一個高數字。造成此原因，一是選生選得不好，或課程設計得太深。

哈，Mr Yau将之說成是嚴格把關，為將来高考鋪路云云。將不好的(學生心理造成不好之影响)當Sale point，Mr Yau真醒。

Principal Yau always emphasize that the teachers there are of the best classes: all of them are U-grad, some of them are master, doctor and even with University professors.

The quality of the teachers are the most important part of a school. And Logos dare to use a lot of money to hire talents. I am so curious why Logos parents do not want to talk about Logos' teachers.

Yes, logos has some U-grad, master even doctors' qulificaton persons to be her teachers BUT please do NOT forget person who has the best qualification not equal to has the best teaching technique.
Do we need a doctoral lecturer to teach a primary level pupils? Remember woh, I said "Lecturer" not "teacher" ar.....

Hi Enchante,

I always believe that the chance for a guy with higher qualification to out perform a guy with lesser qualification in teaching primary kids is a little higher.

A few months ago, I read through the topic of Logos's IB exam that drew heated debate here which might be a weak point in the school.

But parents of Logos should take pride in the teaching staff and wonder why they don't say a word here.

I've seen countless examples in BK that parents are usually united to defend their kids' schools actively.  But why can't I see this from Logos?

你一定冇睇早兩三個月有關真道既message la，有人曾經以為好精明，好勁咁同人拗，又冇point，但又吾認自已揀錯，今次仲走出黎咩！

This year is the second year for LOGO's to intake the Secondary School Students. Just wonder, how can they get students scoring "0" in the HKCEE?????

You can have your "RIGHT" whether you like the school or not. However, please don't give the WRONG information here!!!!

Dear all,

I cannot answer all of you during the office hours and happy to see your responses.

Actually, I still 心大心細, sometimes dont' want to give up a chance for lucky draw (free of school fees) but also afraid cannot get a place into a good school.  On the other hand, Logos is a new school with limited performance or progress of the students for these years.  Therefore, less confidence to go on.
My friend has dedcided to give up the seat from the 1st round and put his daughter into Logos last year.  He feel quite comfortable and satisfactory to the school and his daughter like the school very much.  That's only the reason I choose Logos.

Since my daughter already have a place in a private school for security, I wounder to lose the register fee and go back to the lucky draw......  this will bring my daughter cannot go back to Logos.......

Can you list out here the reasons why you would like to choose Logos for your daughter so that we can offer you more specific advice? I mean what are the features of Logos that make you believe that she is a good school?
