2. To be honest, most parents either speak ENglish or Cantonese... my son is 2y11m old, his classmates are >3yr old, but I don't think they can produce so accurate Cantonese, not to mention PTH.
Parents were invited to attend an orientation day 1-2 weeks after school starts, we receive a pack of curriculum stating very clearly what are covered in the whole year. Very detailed indeed.. literacy, art, music, early mathematics, etc. I can see what is taught each month, my son comes back with 2 worksheets a week. BUt again, they are just babies... hands are not yet ready to write, so worksheets are mostly recognition of Chinese characters, drawing short straight vertical lines, circles, long horizontal lines etc...
I don't know PTH, so I won't expct that he can speak very good PTH with limited exposure, but he shows some knowledge of PTH, at least he can sing somePTH songs to me which is good and fair enough.
