The registration will take place on July 9 morning. Is it I could only buy the whole set of textbooks + exercises on this day? Is there a chance to buy them later? The reason I have this question is because I am still awaiting for a DSS school's offer.

Of course you can. You can get the books at 精工bookstore in 天后 anytime you like.

Getting them at school on the registration day saves you the trouble of queueing up at the bookstore, fight your way inside with parents of other schools, wait for the store people to pick the books and queue up again to pay...

We did that last year because of the pig flu. The school preferred not to have too many people crowded on campus. All current students needed to get the books at the bookstore ourselves.

Oh many thanks for your reply. So at 精工bookstore in 天后, I should be able to buy the whole set? Would there be a book list provided on registration day even I don't buy books there? And by when that I should obtain all the textbooks? Just before Sept 1? Or would you suggest that I should buy some of the books so that my girl could have a little preparation for her new school life?

Yes, you can get the whole set at the bookstore. Just that you need to spend some time to wait for them to pack them for you. At school, you just pay and get the whole pre-packed set.

Either way, there will be some outstanding items. You have to pay ALL first and these items will be distributed to the kids when school begins.

You can get the booklist on the registration day and get the books later. Yes, anytime before school begins.

I don't think you need to do any revision with your girl. P. 1 is the honeymoon year. Let them get used to the class routine first.
