Dear Parents,

We would like to know you opinions about considering the offers from 優才, 聖方濟各英文, 聖三一堂. Thanks.

Here are our points of views.

優才
Adv:
Good student performance:
e.g. PISA results (like Finland education), overseas exam results,
Good & New teaching theory and application
Have secondary school
May be more happy in learning?
Disadv:
No HK public exam reference (but may be started from 2010?)
Less practice vs Exam result? (In my personal experience, more practice with sufficient analysis (understanding and thinking practices) will help to get higher marks in exam)

聖方濟各英文
Adv:
Good academic results
High chance to enter good band 1 secondary school
Eng. is the major teaching language even from P1
Lof of experience in teaching (long school history)
Disadv:
High workload, both parents & students
No direct HK public exam reference (NO Secondary school)

聖三一堂
Adv:
Have secondary school
Eng. is the major teaching language even from P1
Nice teaching staff
May be more happy in learning?
Disadv:
No HK public exam reference from new Eng. DSS

Dear Parents,

Although we do not receive your comments, we also have some discussion among us (my wife and me).

I like GT more than the others as I hope my kid can build up his positive learning habit and attitude. I afraid high workload pressure will affect my kid positive learning tendency. Besides, GT students also show very good performance in Language and Mathematics. Therefore, we tentatively think we will still keep GT to be our choice and give up the offers from others. Hope some other waiting listed kids can receive official offers soon.

優才今年亦收了小兒﹐另外兩間學校未報﹐所以不能評價。
本人亦喜歡優才﹐為此放棄了培僑等其它直資及私小。
既然你心中已有答案﹐就相信自己的選擇吧。
