我曾睇過一篇訪問, 有個讀英文好叻既小朋友, 佢家長話如果唔明白既英文字, 最好用英/英, 唔會令到中英混淆....

我怕用英/英小朋友唔明白, 尤其囝囝只有小一, 所以大家有何提議呢? 請指教

睇你間學校要求，有要求英英咪買囉，如果冇，梗係英中喇。
小一學生，普通英文都未掂，仲英英？到睇倒啲英文解釋，然後又再查中文睇啲英文解釋點解，咁咪盞攞黎搞！
至於英英，高年班先諗啦。

For primary one student, they already knew some speaking English from movies, cartoons, books or school class. As parents, we need to use the simple English to teach our kids.
Thinking in English when you studying English.
Thinking in Chinese when you studying Chinese.

agreed, 我就係怕囝囝用慣漢/英, 每次諗英文生字時都會諗中文先, 咁樣就會混淆左, 同埋用慣漢/英, 第2時用英/英就比較難適應; 但小一學生用英/英又好似早左d.....

不如大家講下你地買哪出版社既英/英字典呢?

My son uses "Jolly Dictionary". It is very colourful with some pictures in it. You may take a look at it at Wisekids or Hong Kong Book Centre.

我買的是牛津小學生圖解，我認為不錯

冇錯，買電子好D，我就用好X通靚X王；中英得，成語又得，你諗得出既幾乎都有，仲有得Upgrade。貴係貴左D，但中、小學咁多年買少幾本字典條數都係番度。

Exactly.

I would suggest not to use Electronic dictionary. My niece used them from primary and when she's F.4, she couldn't tell the corrent A-Z order!

Why don't use Advanced Learner's English-Chinese Dictionary of OxfordUniversity Press? It has both Chinese and English explanations.

By the way, my boy doesn't use any dictionary at all. It will easi ...

贊成用傳統既字典；咁樣可以訓練D小朋友按步就班搵正確既答案；同埋好多時電子詞典出黎既第一結果都同要搵既答案相差好遠。但對一D懶人黎講，電子詞典真係寶物。
