My Girl will be in P1 in Sep 2008! Can Those parents share our preparation work or comments about their promotion in P1!
Dear All SPCPS parents,
My girl will promote to P1 this Sept. I heard the standard of Chinese and English is quite hard as they changed the syllabus. I think English is not a problem for my kids because School practice is quite enough. Can Anyone share about the Chinese Standard and What else that we can prepare for them!
Do you have any idea about the P1 Preparation class for SPC? I heard from other parents, they register in St Lei Luk. Any Comments or will you join or any other recommendation???
I do not have any idea of the level of P1. I have checked with St Lei Lu before but didn't register as I would like to see if we can handle it or not.

Thnks for your comments. May I know which tutorial centre where you son have before. I understand the Local style tutorial was always like this. Sister Joanna Or Lucia doens't like the students go to tutorial because they might have a bad behavioural effect. Thanks for your information!!! Keep in Contact and share!!! Can you provide the most important things or problems that we may have or prepare for the P1 School Life. I just met a P4 parents yesterday. I found this school is really my ideal one. Kids are not stressful but strict enough. They are very happy in SPC. However Internal competition is very demanding. Kids are more creative and they can explore many things not only reading from textbooks. Reading program is very good. Each kids has their own character. He told me that Her girl looks really like "Paul Con" Girl now!! Very Confidence and Independent!! God Bless!!

Yes, When I compare with MPS, our cost is almost half of this and other school. Many school cost about 2200+ for textbook only. I think we may have some more extra supplementary exercises later Like the creative writing that we need to buy it seperately. However Current P1 parents, can you share?? AndyRain, Did you buy the Checker Hair Tie up on that day?? Finally I decided to buy a SEVEN Schoolbag for my girl because it was light and well protected and More Fashionable but expensive. I got some comments from other parents?? Girl is enjoying summer holiday and no class at all.
Please try to check with Jing Kung again but I have made the reservation for the full set on 10 Jul. You may need to queue for the Magical english after the reservation completed. Remember to buy the book cover which is not expensive and good.
I brought the Uniform already and I got it from the neighbour stores from School. I just brought 2 sets only and 1 set of PE uniform.
