Tutor Time is from the USA and their curriculum is from the HQ over there. Yew Chung on the other hand has their curriculum set here in Hong Kong.

Both adopt similar approaches and their fees are no ...

one teacher told me that all of TT's pre-nursury class teachers are non-registered teacher

My friend and my sister are registered teacher, they all told me that the teachers for pre-nursery class are non-train, of course K1-3 are registered la........ my friend went to interview of TT kowloon centre, she prefered to teach pn class and the so-called centre director asked her that the trained teachers not for pn class. So she gave up the offer.

ha, is it true? How can a non-trained teacher to take care a group of 2-year-old students? It seems very non-sense wor!!! Could you share more details?

I haven't double check with TT
For me, my girl also attending the playgroup at TT right now
I was considering KCS, YC and TT for PN class last year
when I talked with my friend who is kindergarten teacher
she is teaching in Ling Leung Tong right now
she told me that she went to TT kowloon centre for interview last year
and ok la, school asked my friend which level she prefered to teach
my friend replied that she prefered PN class
but school replied that the trained teacher not for PN class
and said that cannot provide the salary for trained teacher for PN class
and she can consider to receive a non-trained salary for a year then school can change to other level
of course my friend rejected the offer
I think that my friend no need to bad mouth TT
and the trained teachers means the teachers with QKT certificate (2-yr full time certificate course or the holder of early childhood educationd degree)

and I asked my sister that will the KG employ the non-trained teacher?
my sister replied my that most of the teaching assistants are non-trained
but parents cannot identify who is teaching assistant, my be one of the classmastress
and school will send non-trained teachers to take the part time course
my sister is one of this case
after a three years course of HK Institute of Education
She is a certificate holder of QKT
before she got the QKT, she was also taeching at KG
