我帶個女去 interview (佢9月出細 + 生得細細粒), 見到人o地o的細路 '牛高馬大', 舉止都成熟好多, 我係學校, 都唔會捒呢個妹妹.

起度又見到各位家長分享 interview 的過程和趣事, 我個女好懵呀! 我問佢老師問咩問題, 佢次次都話唔記得曬, 只記得一些很普通的 : 你叫咩名呀? 你幾多歲呀? 其他 ....

唉! 睇怕都衰曬! 唯一令我開心的是 : 亞女面試毫無壓力, 因為佢根本唔知發生咩事, 嘻!

yes, 細仔細女 interview 係蝕底
我帶個細仔 interview (佢11月出細 + 生得large), 見到人o地o的細路舉止都成熟.
But when once talking, his talking tone is quite childish.

it is the real life...
The only thing you could do is give her more training on interview and discussion in order to bring him more mature

Anyway, my child get into YW

IF 2008 P1 school is not ur target.
so u can try apply P1 class, on next year ur daughter will
decame a BIG girl and mature.

我覺得表現都好重要, 我朋友囡囡 12 月中出世, 今年考p.1 差不多間間都收, 最後仲係佢第1 輪 20分入到名校. ( 普遍中產)

Share my experience

My son was a small boy and was born in Nov. Luckily, he was well trained his manner by the teachers of the kindergarten for few months. I was very impressed by my son's changing during the interview. He was accepted by 5 schools and was waiting for 2 other schools. Of course, I would only register one of them.

我囡囡都係呢類型噃, 超名校就無機, 但都有其他學校收架, 唔好灰心.

我之前都有甘樣想法, 但另外有 d BK 家長話先己個細仔, 細女都考到直資同私校. 但系我自己發覺直資同私校收的大部份系英文幼稚園的小朋友. (純粹個人意見 only).

Most schools prefer to accept good language and social skill children. If 2 kids have similar abilities, they tend to accept "big" boy/girl.

我是過來人(大的p.6 小的p.2*不同學校),小女(10月尾)生得細粒,但我覺得也不是太難找學校,大家不要灰心呀.

可能D細仔細女家長報D好Top嘅名校，考唔到，咪覺得有關係。報D適合自己的小朋友嘅學校相信問題不大。

我的小女兒9月尾出世，生得細細粒，外表仍像K1學生，比同學矮一個頭，讀XX慈善機構幼稚園。考了4間私校/直資，全也收了。

我的女兒是02年12月尾出生的,但是也有九龍塘錄取和德望後補,我已覺得表現很好了

同意, 我的仔仔都是12月中出生, 雖然超級名校考唔到, 但都有幾間私校考到, 所以不要灰心, 當初我都好擔心架, 現在九龍塘留咗位, 我倆公婆都好鍾意。

見k1時大細b有分別. . . .咩原來見小學都仲有分架?

到 5, 6 歲, 差幾個月development分別應該不大吧?

I think it still has obvious difference if two children have almost 1 year difference (eg kids born in Sept 01 must be more mature than those born in Aug 02).

My daughter was born in mid-Sept and is luckily admitted to DGJS for 08/09 P.1. I have a younger son who was born in Dec and was re-applying for 08/09 K1 (he's studying K1 in SC). My experience in the past months for the interview of both my girl and my boy told me that the system is prejudice to "young boy and young girl". Though my daughter is luckily admitted by DGJS, however, if the days were back to 2 years ago, I will let her repeat K1 and as a "big girl".
It is the 2nd time my boy was interviewed for K1 and I am so confident in his performance as all other children are starting to learn how to communicate while my boy is obviously "outstanding" from the others because he seems to be smarter because he's older (comparing a 2 yrs old boy with a 3 yrs old boy!!). Of course, the results are all positive and he is admitted by SKH (Central), Kentville a.m.
