Re: YMCA Swimming class
The membership of Yamatei YMCA and TST YMCA are not common because they are run by differenct management (but they are under the same organization). That also happens in most of YMCA centre and their membership cannot share among YMCAs.
Yamatei YMCA has an indoor 25m swimming pool and one outdoor child swimming pool, which are almost the same as TST YMCA. The swimming classes of Yamatei YMCA are very popular. Each time, when starting new course, some parents have to queue up before 8:00a.m. For their summer courses, they have started to arrange to apply.
But, I think that the membership fee of Yamatei YMCA is more reasonable because it is too clowned with people in TST centre even they charge such amount of money. Besides, their coaches are the same because they only employ some outside coaches for teaching (limited amount is permanent staff). But of course, YMCA are good in managing their coaches and upkeeping their standard than other swimming clubs.
As far as I know, the course fee of Yamatei YMCA is cheaper than TST one. (May have to check).
So far, I am satisfied with Yamatei YMCA swimming courses.
One can go to Yamatei and TST for comparing the place, location, time and membership fee, course fee before making decision. |
