Re: CCKG VS SPK
Hello everybogy,
I finally give up the place from CCKG in the coming September.
Reasons:
Advantages of SPK are too much ;
-the observations for the children of the teacher is good and experienced
-good communication with school and parents,
-many activities,like cookery lesson,swimming day,
-much more space for indoor and outdoor playing,
-much more convinient for picking up the child for me,
-stronely catholic background that teaching the kids to be much more mature,independent and positive thinking,understand sharing and acceptance of others
-my daughter is really enjoying her school life here and also attain a good performance in here.
-cheaper school fee...etc
disadvantages of SPK
-low academic level
There is only one reason for me to choose CCKG before is that I want my daughter could have much more English usage standard.However,after my consideration,CCKG is still a very attractive for me but I understand that stressful for the parents and children must increase while i let my child to study there.It is because when you were in a part of the best,then you must think of the "best" of the best!!
Even though i may not doing these kind of things obviously, I still have this kind of thinking at least.The worse is ...even the children also have a great competetion of each others,I don't want this!!
For academic level,parents play an impotant role to the kids,even my daughter is now studying K1 in SPK,she can read a book more than hundred words of each page now.But there is one thing is truth that her oral english is regreted after studying there compare with studying in international pre-nursery class.
And the second point is that CCKG is a giant step for going into DGS,i think if my child has such kinds of talent,she would success in her interview in the future,just like this case.
and CCKG is a small school compare with SPK,their opening for parents is less than in SPK,because they are self-running!!(just my opinion)
I would like to know more about my daughter ,I would like to play with her much more time rather than giving her pressure during these 2 to 3 years.
So,I choose SPK.
