Re: 入讀07 K1培正o既家長入黎交流
Hi everybody! Nice to meet you ...
I'll adopt the same approach as Enyay. Though the result from Alliance宣道 is still pending and we've got offers from some kindergartens as well, we've made up our minds and opted Pui Ching.
At first we also worried about the Chinese-medium teaching and I personally didn't like the old buildings, esp. the very dirty toilet! Yet, after hearing the favourable views from friends and colleagues, such as happy learning environment, pretty good standard of the kids (esp. Maths and Science), nice parents, modest development of kids, etc., we considered that this would be the best choice for us and we didnn't want to switch to other choices. We do want our son to speak and write good English. So, we're going to arrange English sessions (once per week) for our son who can speak English fairly well now. By the way, we plan to send our kid to study abroad after F.5 and we don't quite worry about the English stuff.
We witnessed that many friends did pay great efforts and time to nurture their kids so as to pave ways for entrance of prestigous primary schools but in vain. They're so frustrated and we just wanna to skip this step. Frankly, we're not kind of 'very keen' parents. To us, attending 5-8 extra-curricular activities per week is terrible and we're just too lazy to do so. With Pui Ching primary school as a backup, I guess we may spare more time and efforts to do things that we really like and we may still try private schools' applications after 2 years if we preferred so by the time.
