Hi,
My friend told me that the standard is fine for new Y1 student for both Mand / Chi, however, if you want the advance level, you need to search at later stage.  I want to enrol also but no school bus after course provided. Could you tell me the course details of the pro-lingual at KGV?

My son will take the K1-K2 level as he don't know any Chinese (Read & Write). My friend's daughter learn for 9 months, now she can read a full page of Chinese.  My choice is Kumon or KGV, finally I take KGV, may consider Kumon at later stage. I m afraid Kumon is very boring for him at the beginning, but when he know a little, I will consider to make another arrangement.  KGV just started on 2 Sept, so l m a little bit late, say 9 Sept. I just take Chinese for him right now. How about u?

I'm also struggling whether to let my girl to take Pro-lingual or WWW.  I spoke with pro-lingual today.  They said they offer two different courses, Chinese and Mandarin.  Which one did your friend's daughter take? and what about your son?  How many student in one class?  Does he like it?

Hi Fee_Bee,
My son just started his Chinese class last Sat, only 5 kids per class, the teacher is experienced in teaching. I didn't start the Mandarin class cos I wont force my kid to learn both when starting.  After finished the first class, he told me that he likes it as the teacher gave them some candy to eat!!! If you want to enroll, you must do it quick as they count it in term, otherwise you will lost.

The size of the class is good right now but I know they may go up to 12. I think I will let her take it too.
