我兒今年小一，英文及數學課課程明顯比上年小一深了，英文已教到past tense，而數學已教到乘數。

It seems to be 明顯比other school's 小一深了. Just wonder how does the student cope with that in class? any specical 教學模式? Would kids feel a lot of pressure?

Papa2000,

I will agree with bbk. The schedule is tight. However, since different boys have different ability, it's difficult to judge if it's too difficult. Some parents even comment boys can face more challenge and some can even have full marks.

To me, my son doesn't feel that pressure even he cannot get good marks but I will feel satisfactory is he is trying all his best.

I do not mind so much about academics as my child has a good command of English. He studies French and learns PTH after school. His maths is OK.

I encouraged him to join Shakespear Junior Theatre.

I am more concerned about his music and sport. This is true style of DBS.

EDUCATION IS NOT ABOUT EXAMINATION AND POINTS
