Hi,

Any mother join the above plan at the Heep Hong?  How's good for the social group?  What are the locations and how much for how long?

Hi,
My girl joined the social group. It's arranged by ST. Kids with similar level of development will be grouped together. It's pretty good. We attended the one in Tai Hang East Estate (Shekkipmei). Each session was 1.5hr, $350 per session.

your girl speaks English, right? Does it work for her. Do you think they have any social group for my son too?

Dear pamam,
My girl's first language is English, but she's learning Cantonese. So we just put her in the Cantonese social group. It's not easy to her. We need to prepare her before the classes. However, we still want her to learn more Cantonese and adpat to the Cantonese environment.

thanks for your prompt response. I am still looking around for any English speaking social group. My son's social skills have made no progress, I am very worried about it.

Yes, it's very difficult to find an English social group for our kids. That's why I have to put my daughter in the Cantonese group. If you can find one, please let me know.

Have you ever contacted the Project Aspire? (the one offered by HKIEd for those Asperger kids?) I called them before and asked if they could provide some services for English speaking kids. They said there was very low demand on English services. However, if they received more requests and they had more resources, they would consider it in the future. So perhaps you may call them and express your need.
