Just come back. Sorry.
My daughter was not the outstanding group in GH. However, she is ok especially in any examination cause she doesnot feel nervous there. She told me she knew and answered all the question in the entrance examination. I trust her and she gets a place there.
For academic level, I really don't know. However, I would like to give an example for you to judge.
In GH, there are a lot of work sheets with detail explaination of the use of english but it seems not much in Marymount. ( may be Marymount does has such work sheet in P1, just I don't know) In Marymount, there are more english reading book and student learn a good english speaking tone there.( may be due to different teacher).
One comment from my daughter's Chinese Painting teacher is (she has student from both schools) Marymount student seems more active and creative, GH student seems more willing to follow the rules and guidlines.
Good or bad? My idea is all depend on your daughter's character. For my daughter, she is not the style of happy with intensive training. I think Marymount is more suitable for her. If she continue she study in GH, it may has adverse effect. |
