現在香港有不少中學提供IGCSE同IB (蔡繼有),  剩係IGCSE (嚟緊St Paul College有),  同剩係2年IB 同HKDSE 選擇 (聖士提反).  想問如果想小朋友將來到英國升學(當然希望是劍牛),  應該讀：
1. 香港IGCSE + 到英國讀A Level
2. 香港IGCSE + IB (蔡繼有)
3. 香港IB
4. HKGSE

請問以上方法邊樣好d呢？我小朋友是活潑型，但是讀書方法較傳統(未有太多creativity),  未知IB適唔適合。希望有經驗的家長指教。

現階段只是選小學，我知咁快問早得誇張，但因仔已有/有機會有以上學校offers,  所以想了解吓，從而選出最適合的小學。

1間九龍，2間在香港，先考慮車程，太早上車冇精神，三間都是好學校，是考慮那間合小朋友及考得好成績，有好成績時中學可考慮叩門男拔，溫馨提示st.Paul 合格平均90分，8x分要。。。

我住正中心，車程不是問題。反而想知考邊間試會對升英國大學有幫助。

Frankly speaking, if you are seriously targeting the Oxbridge, apply and get in some of the top UK boarding school at their year 9 (or earlier) entry. Complete all 4 years of GCSE and A-Levels there. These school acceptance rate by Oxbridge is far better than any of the options you suggested. However, by saying this, I do not suggest or recommend you should send your kid to overseas at that early age.

Thanks for your suggestion. I considered the above options because I dont want to send my son overseas at such a young age.... I heard that going to boarding schools should be a better option though...

可以考慮在傳統英中讀至中四，然轉去英國讀AL 中六。見過小朋友就是這樣考入Cambridge

Agree with manning2014, it is one of the options you may go with. Taking A-level in UK will increase your chance of getting into Oxbridge. However, good grades are still needed for AL.

多謝回覆。如果讀至中四，就直接到英國讀AL嗎？不需要讀IGCSE? 其實我都唔清楚如果IGCSE是中幾讀的。。。

Thanks for your comments. So I dont really need to care about which exam to take but just go boarding at grade 9 (= form 3?? ). i have totally no idea, seeking for more guidance and sharing please...

我又想八下，孩子在小學，而家就知目標会是牛劍？是否已知喜愛科目？如想他日做医生而打算在香港執業，香港讀仲好D喎。

同意如果讀醫就唔會去英國了。只不過孩子說沒有興趣做醫生，他說想做銀行，建築師或律師。

孩子仍小，未必可作準，無論如何想入這兩間頂尖學府必須成績，你列出的學制均有學生入到

佢讀完本地中四升讀AL完全沒問題，有冇考過GCSE 就唔知道。
