Hi! Dear BK friends,

What do you think? To choose Phonics classes teach
by foreigner or by Hong Kong teacher.

I have such question because I scare my child (5 yrs
old) will not understand what the foreigner teacher
saying?

Any experience sharing? Many thanks!!

I think the children will understand what teacher say even by the foreign.

When we talk about pronunciation, I'll prefer a foreign speaker.

Don't worry. My kids starts from 3 and they can speak fearlessly with foreigners now.

My son tried both foreigner and local teacher before. I found that some foreigner teachers hadn't much experience in teaching phonics and my son didn't enjoy the class. Therefore, I belieive the most important is the teacher's experience no matter the teacher is foreigner or local. My son now is taught by a local teacher and have no problem to communicate with foreigner.
