I hope my son can be studying primary school in DBS in the furture, which kindergarden is better? I'm living at Kwai Chung, seems no advantage!

DBSPD (新小拔, 直資) or
DPS (舊小拔, 津校) ?

Someone told me that DBS prefers students from CCKG and St. Catherine.

Actually both DPS & DBSPD are good schools; however, if you want your son finally study at DBS(secondary school), you should apply DBSPD, since DPS has already 脫鉤 with DBS.

According to what I've heard from other mammies, more than 80% of the boys from CCKG got admitted by DBSPD this year, but no guarantee.

But please note for CCKG, only 40 boys will be selected out of the thousands of applicants.

For those on Hong Kong Island, you can consider Jimmy's (Rightmind) KG at Pokfulam. Their graduates in recent years have been admitted to DBSPD, DPS, DGS, SIS, CIS, etc.

I found out when I spoke to the headteacher that their School Supervisor's sons both graduated from this KG and they are both happily at DBSPD.

I am sending my child there.

I heard many of them were from CCKG.
Some from others like Kentville, St. Catherine,
Lang Liang Church, Victoria, even 衛理(I know one in 2004),but sorry, I didn't hear any from Jimmy's(Rightmind).
