Dear Parents,
Do you have any idea - the most convenient and easy way to get to Tonbridge School from Heathrow? Do we need to stay at Kent the night before our visit if our appointment will be at 10:30am? Many thanks!

The most convenient and easy way is of course going by taxi.

Alternatively, there are trains from Charing Cross London to Tonbridge. The journey is less than an hour and there are several trains passing through per hour.

Tonbridge school is 1x minutes walk from the Tonbridge train station along High Street.

Kent is quite big. For example, from Canterbury to Tonbridge is kind of an hour journey by train, similar to coming from London Charing Cross. If she visits Tonbridge School, she may choose to stay in Tonbridge (the city / town) that she can feel about the surrounding / neighborhood of where the school locates. Alternatively, she can stay in London and takes the train on the day of school visit.

If your friend looks for value for money accommodation, she can check Premier Inn chains of hotel which is not bad. For higher grade hotels, she may look through tripadvisor.
