Yesterday I received the paper documents from the school. It doesn't have the word "conditional". I got a direct debit authorisation form, an orientation (June 29) invitation, a school bus form, etc.
Maybe the headmistress tried to exert pressure on me. She asked me to insist the use of English at home with my kid... Then she mentioned about the conditional offer... At that time, I guessed what it meant by "conditional" was "temporary" as the school office was closed at that time and she couldn't give me a formal letter of acceptance. Anyway, I have got an offer now for my kid. I'm very happy! You know, l had an interview with the headmistress for more than 1 hour from 4:50 to 6:00. Very impressive interview! The longest and most detailed one that I've ever had with my kid! I was told how to get my kid well prepared for the school before September... She's very professional and her advice is useful.
