I shall go for SC because of (1) its long tradition; (2) good experience of teachers; and (3) happy learning environment. The school has a lot of records on how to prepare for P1 admission. The teachers can easily compare your kids with other kids they taught and you know what to focus to improve / prepare more for your kids. The learning environment is relaxed and you can spare more time to develop interests of your kids.
All in all, the rule of thumb is suitability. It all depends if it suits your kid(s). Your kid(s) can tell.
