Hello Tina,

I'm also interested in KUMMON. It can be started from 3 years old. I visited their booth in the Conventional centre yesterday. You might go to the exhibition to have a look and it is free, it will be ended tomorrow.

My son is studying Maths (only Maths can accept 3 years old kids)

Chinese and English is suitable to K2 kids

不過公文真係好悶, 同我囡囡一齊讀的同學, 有部份已經放棄, 因為成日重覆, 我都覺得好悶.

公文係訓練自學,循序漸進,如果要反覆練習,多數係因為孩子未能達到標準,所以會覺得悶。若能衝出[死讀書]

我由亞仔 k2 下學期開始比佢學公文數, 當然都係佢自己願意學! 到而家小一, 數學科對佢黎講完全唔係問題, 我地仲可以將d時間用黎溫習其他科目! 上學期佢仲考到數學科全級第一添! 所以我覺得公文數對亞仔係有用嘅, 而家仲學埋英文添!

Hi YS mom,
Sorry for replying so late!
Yes as per my opinion, Kumon Chinese is equal to learning Putonghua. You will involve listening to CD, writing chinese and pinyin. My son starts at the beginning level 5A and is currently studying level A1. Now he need to go through a sentence and requires to fill up chinese word as per pinyin. In this case he knows about the pinyin and he knows about chinese word. (He cannot learn so much chinese word from his kindergarten).
