well, he is a very clever A kid. The way that Dustin Hoffman learning is left brain learning method.

paulsir,

autistic children may have flair in specific area. If possible, I think could transfer the kid to better special school ,like ESF or others, or find private therapist for speech training, sensory integration or other training. You glance through special education in this forum you will get a lot of information.

any mums have experience in receving training like the one describe in the book 'how to help your brain injured child'? Pl share.

In fact, I'm training some kids with learning disabilities , delayed and other syndromes locally, with the method described in Glenn Doman's book ' How to help your brain-injured child'.

The overall results are satisfactory, in interested to know more in details about the method, you can pm me.

Thank you very much for your advice and information. I shall pass on the information and I am sure his parents will try their very best to enhance his ability.

From watching the earthquake news in these 2 days, my heart is really going deep. One should take pride for at least being able to “live” safely and treasure every moment of life. One’s ability could mean nothing in such a disaster.!

I cannot locate the book you said. Should the book's title be actually read as "What to Do About Your Brain Injured Child". This is the nearest book name I can find by this author.

There is another book called 'how to help brain-injured child'?
