己考取私校的小朋友,統一派位冇個好?

今天,我收到教處寄耒的信,問我再玩唔玩统一派泣,我相信這是由於我個小朋友已在一間私校做了註冊,学校報上教處统的原故, 有得玩大抽獎,為何唔玩?教處為何這樣問呢？Why?why?
同時,我想知道己考取私校的小朋友,統一派位冇個好 --- 這個是否事實? Pls tell me.

Dear mingming03,

我上司個仔o係第一round都入唔到油天(可以少左宗教o個5分), 之後o係第二round俾佢抽到! 現在出生率低(佢個仔今年讀六年班), 再減去己考取私校的小朋友, 我相信統一派位冇個好 --- 這個並不是事實! 祇要有機會, 各位BK家長都唔好放棄!

有名的學校一定
多人抽. 出生率低只會係
機會率大d, 但都係好多人抽同一間有名的學校. 同麻
人多認為機會率大左, 咁d人咪一窩蜂抽同一間有名學校囉.

總之, 係你就係你. 唔係你就唔係你. 你只可以選擇
想唔想比學費! 同麻想唔想同小朋友分
階級(通常官律學校含有富裕家庭的小朋友同麻家貧的小朋友, 而私校一般不會含有家貧的小朋友人...私人見解!).

我聽過有朋友話, 如果你選擇參加統一抽籤, 教署會
通知你已註冊的私校, 咁該間私校就有決定權...是否比你
繼續保留已註冊的學位了! 因有部份私校要確保該學年
有一定人數就讀. 當然係有實力的私校
才可用這手段!

Dear MingMing03,

I have the same impression as yours. Last year, we checked with parents who we knew. All parents who received the letter from 教處 were not successful in getting their first choice in 統一派位, while others without any offers from private schools were able to enter into well-known public or subsidizing schools during 統一派位. However, I don't believe that 教處 will tentatively give a smaller chance to students with offers from private schools.

上年我都有報私校,其中有兩間交了留位費,之後我有參加統一派位,我填表揀學校時都去得好盡.我只填了甲部三間跨區.乙部空晒三十個位.結果我女派到跨區第一志願.

Did you receive the letter from EMB asking whether you would like to continue for central allocation?

I guess that the letter is the key point.

Hi All,

Just share my experience of last year.  My son got seats from various private schools and I did receive the letter from EMB askin whether I would like to continue for central allocation - my answer was "yes".  Luckily, my son got the 1st choice from central allocation.

I do agree with "lam2hei" that 唔會影響統一派位, 但 maybe 會影響你已註冊私校的保留學位決定權!

其實教統局之前都講過係會發信比d有報讀左私校ge家長, 問佢地會唔會仍然參加大抽獎, 因為有d家長會一心讀私校 (好似我同事), 佢地應該係想用黎做統計或睇下仲有幾多小朋友要抽, 反而各位應該係註冊私校時問清楚該校比唔比你有參加, 因為有d私校會因為你再行參加統一派位就會將你個學位取消.......而我覺得教統局就係唔係都比封信你, 我自己就係, 阿囡已註冊1st round成功左ge津校, 所以無去到收佢間私校註冊, 但教統局就send封信黎話信上ge私校收左阿囡, 而知道我地又同阿囡係津校register左, 話為免waste左d學位, 問我地會放棄定保留津校ge位...比佢地激水....

My friend's daughter was accepted by GHS last year. But, she got a place in MCS in the 'lucky draw'. I think the letter will not affect the result. However, we need to ask the school for whether they agree or not before you answer the letter.

That is my real experience...last year, my daughter already got a seat in St. Paul's Convent but i still want her to try the 2nd round lucky draw...and now, she is studying P.1 in Maryknoll Convent....She is one of the 8 lucky girls, Non District 41 applicant, who could make it..

So, why not try your luck??? Just think about how much $$$$ you pay for your tax every year then, you will not even want to miss a single chance to get back some allowance from OUR GREAT GOVERNMENT....haha..
