During my days, I used one poem for several occasion as my aim is to train the confidence. Practice at home the voice. How to speak loud - stand at one side of the corridor then ask him to speak a bit louder
I always prepare a small gift after his recitation so that he will not be so nervous I'd he will get a prize as he has already won the prize from his mom
