Anna,
我仔仔讀緊P.2, 佢運動方面好差, 跑步全班最尾, P.1考試跑步時佢好驚, 老師鼓勵佢只是完成跑圈, 不是比賽計時, 最後佢都能完成還取了B-, 所以不用擔心.
游泳方面我都有參加, 是自願性, 已游了一年, 有幾個地方選擇, 我在九龍公園, 但不是校隊. 學校有水運會, 並不是人人可參加, 要選的.運動堂沒有游泳.

我都係到諗緊,駛唔駛考PE,因為通告無講...可能無得
讀,所以老師自已上堂考左就算啦..哈哈.

我又想知,小兒不在學校學游水,在外面自已學,咁可唔
可以參加水運會呀?還是要自己同體育科老師安排呢?

請賜教.

Dear  AAI and SFA's Parents,

I would like to express my gratitude for all your valuable suggestions.  I do really has a deeper understanding of SFA.

Hi, AAI, from your message, it seems that the P.E. teacher is kind and accepts the different ability of each kid.  Am I right?

You know, I'm very worry about my son wouldn't meet the requirement in P.E. lesson in primary school.  The other classmates even don't like to play with him, especailly in case of group competition.

He got C grade in sport in both K.1 and K.2 assessment reports.  He's always the last in running...he's always miss the ball in catch & throw...he lacks of bouncing ability...he lacks of hands & legs coordination.  My son always feel chicken when he climbs up a bit high or splashes into water.  Any motion that are easy for the other kids, but hard for him.

AAI, would you mind share your experience with me?
Is the swimming course a type of extra-curricular activities for the parent to choose?  How many lesson per week? Does your son feel hard at the beginning?  Is it good for this type of kid to swim?  Sorry for the those endless questions!

學校水運會係比泳會攪, 由泳會選拔, 當然佢地會選自己泳會D人先啦~ 我朋友個女游得幾好, 但係水運會選不到佢, 因為佢唔係泳會D人, 而家已經轉咗會, 第一次上堂就認得選拔果個亞sir, 認真攪笑, 我諗佢出年可以比賽啦, 佢學校同我地係同一個泳會架, 哈!哈!哈! (黑暗)

其實你唔駛太緊張運動方面, 今次運動會我仔仔參加唔到賽跑, 但我可以同佢參加親子比賽. 我諗你緊張功課多D, 因為真係好快好急.
泳會係自由參與, 每星期一天, 可選星期六 or 日, 學校泳隊就一星期訓練幾天. 以前我跟私人泳會同泳天,泳天真係一個好好既泳會, 仔仔跟以前間泳會學壞姿勢, 泳天D教練好有心機去改佢, 真係捉手捉腳去教, 用咗大半年時間才改好, 小朋友用錯姿勢很難改, 因為已經習慣咗. 剛剛暑假介紹表妹一齊學, 表妹讀K3, 學了一個暑假, 已經唔係BB班, 但進度唔快, 因個人問題, 其實最緊要係锻綀身體強壯, 雖然學費比較貴, 但都值得.(我真係好怕比人教壞姿勢,很難改,游水同溜冰都跟錯人,真慘~~以上只係個人意見)希望能幫到你.

係呀..不過學校的泳會,時間同地點我都唔方便,
而且學開果到幾好....咁由得佢啦,正如你所講,
都係想佢身體好d, 有無得比賽,遲d先算啦

Dear SFA's parents,

I want to know about the Putonghau teaching and English teaching in SFA.

As I know there is a Putonghau subject in the school, then, is the Chinese Studies conducted by Cantonese or Putonghau?

Besides, is there an native speaker to teach General English or only Oral English?

在小一來說,中文科不是用普通話的,但每cycle都有兩節
普通話堂.

英文除了基本的英文堂外,都係每cycle有由外籍老師教
的Eng. Lit and oral.

另外每週四第一堂前都有一段reading time,全校的老師,
同學都一齊reading的.早會有時會全英,有時會中英.
