I don't think it's pediatrians in HK that are skeptical, but HK public in general. In fact, the doctors I know and my friends' ones recommend to do the shot. The vaccines sourced by HK gov't are from a french manufacturer, Sanofi Pasteur, which is the safest manufacturer among those H1N1 vaccines available in the world now, so HK gov't has done a good job here that he aborted the initial batch which was from China.
I just took a shot today. Make sure to ask the clinic if their vaccines are from Sanofi, as it is possible that some private doctors may buy from others.
